EDIT 01.06.2018 – The Battle of Britain team has been in touch to inform us that the Spitfire scheduled to fly over Saunton tomorrow has broken down. We’re sure you’ll agree that it hasn’t done badly for its age! Instead, they’re hoping🤞to be able to send a Dakota, one of the most successful aircraft designs in history, at around 5pm…watch this space!!
It is with great pleasure that we can now announce that the sky over Saunton will be graced with a flypast by one of the Battle of Britain Memorial Flights Spitires. This of course is even more special as it is the RAF’s 100th year. The flypast is due to take place on Saturday the 2nd June at approximately 13.45.
